TOP TIP 1 "WINTER SUN SKINCARE"

The NZ Winter Sun can still be harsh so consider wearing a sunscreen or moisturiser with SPF in it for protection & hydration from the elements.

I love Frulabeautys new SPF moisturiser as it’s Kiwi made!  My skin is quite sensitive so love that it’s all natural and not full of chemicals.  If you want some coverage then you can mix it in with your foundation and your ready to go on a Paddle to the Pub!

Head into your local Woolworths or go online here.  The serums are also my fav for repair and rehydration plus they are super afordable!

TOP TIP 2 "WHAT TO WEAR IN WINTER"

Unless you are SUP Surfing or likely to fall then wear layers to stay warm and a wind jacket rather than a wetsuit.  Wetsuits can be restricting in your paddle stroke & you can easily overheat. If you paddle in colder climates then definately get some advice on thermal paddling gear at your local sup store.
Don’t forget gloves, booties, and a hat to keep extremities warm.
I like wearing split toe booties or waterproof socks like the sharkskin socks.
These help insulate your feet from the cold water & walking over stones or slipery ramps and a cap rather than a beanie.
Always wear a life jacket.
It’s really about wearing what makes you feel comfortable & prepared for a enjoyable time on the water girls
